Magnesium: the little mineral with a big job

In my practice I see a lot of people who are deficient in a critical mineral: magnesium. Some don’t get enough magnesium in their diet simply because they don’t eat enough green leafy vegetables (or just enough vegetables in general). Others have a short term higher requirement for it due to illness or due to demand for it in their bodies (e.g. high performance athletes, or others under a lot of mental/emotional stress).
